Brad Slater Bio

I have been living on Cape Cod for 25 years working in the trades and commercial fishing. I recently quit my job as a generator technician to pursue commercial fishing and start my own business creating with driftwood. I just finished school to get my captains license. I spend all my time boating, kayaking, clamming and enjoying Cape Cod, which offers me opportunities to collect interesting driftwood from all over the Cape.

The natural beauty of the sea it's interactions with wood give me pause and offer so much unpredictable creativity. Making art with these beautiful and unique structures brings me great peace and joy.
